LEGACY WAY PROJECT
The M5 Legacy Way enables a four-minute commute between the Western Freeway and the Inner City Bypass in Brisbane. Two separate, parallel tunnels are both two lanes, 4.6 kms in length.

CASE STUDY
J1-LED successfully designed, supplied, installed and commissioned ITS infrastructure solutions with a contract value of approximately $2.7M. Our Lane Use Management Signs (LUMS) enable remote lane management to promote smoother traffic flow and increased safety.
Tunnel Message Signs (TMS) were a major component of the project, and were customised to suit its specific design requirements.
Both the TMS and the Variable Message Signs (VMS) allow for rapid traffic updates & timely driver awareness messages.
The project also included the design, manufacture and installation of a control room video wall, which allows control room staff to keep their finger on the pulse.
