SALES ESTIMATOR

Supporting our management team, you will assume responsibility for the generation of accurate quotes and estimates based on client briefs & our product offerings as well as be responsible for the completion of tender documentation. You will be working internally with the Engineering, Production and Project Teams to ensure estimation accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Preparing of detailed & accurate quotations and estimates based on client briefs and documentation using our standard product offering or costing out new design solutions.

• Ensuring accurate costings based on our ERP System, existing Manufacturing BOMs and Product Design Documentation (Mechanical Drawings and Wiring Diagrams)

• Working to provide detailed costing within timely manner, meeting internal KPIs and adhering to submission deadlines.

• Preparation of Tender Non-Pricing Documentation such as Covering Letters and Questionnaire and Qualitative Criteria Responses on Government & Tier 1 Construction Company Projects.

• Liaising with the client to ensure a complete understanding of project requirements and to request necessary information to achieve the best solution offerings.

• Preparation of Project Briefs & Handovers to the Project Management Team for successful opportunities.

• Peer Review other Estimating & Sales Documentation within the Team.

• Maintain Standard Product Pricing and Customer Database (CRM).

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience as an estimator (preferably from an electrical or manufacturing industry).

• Has experience in the preparation of non-pricing documentation for tender (highly desired).

• Has a proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Has excellent attention to detail and a high level of written communication skills.

• Has the ability to work autonomously and with initiative.

• Has well- developed interpersonal skills with a strong client focus

• Preferably has experience with the MYOB Exo Job Costings Software (or similar).

• Preferably has experience with the Quoting Software, QuoteWerks (or similar)

• Has experience working with CRM for the Sales Pipeline.
