Beyond providing real-time parking availability, the problem with existing precinct parking solutions was that they were mains powered, restricting the deployment location options considerably and often requiring costly capital works.
J1-LED’s solution was to develop a solar, 3G-enabled stand-alone totem.  The unit eliminates power and data challenges, offering a minimum of 5-day solar autonomy and real-time updates of parking spaces available. Their backlit, vibrant design ensures they provide an instantly recognisable landmark for drivers.
The reported benefits of the project include customers making earlier, more informed decisions on where to park, thereby minimising precinct congestion and carpark entry queues.Â
